But if you’re telling yourself a self-depreciating story about work itself (same shit, different day) no job change will work for you.
You may have changed jobs, bosses, cities, habits, brands, political affiliations and the brand of beer you guzzle.
You maybe earning more than you were a couple of years ago, may have added a designation to your visiting card and maybe fooled into believing you’re more important than you are.
But,
if you’re still unhappy, you must admit that the changes aren’t working.

all of these have more impact on your happiness and satisfaction than you realise.
And because changing a story is hard, we waste a lot of time changing things that really don’t matter and don’t help us get what we are seeking.
