Connection occurs when you meet people at the same level that they are at.

If someone offers you food when you’re hungry, you will grab it with both hands. If you are offered something to eat when you’re full, it won’t elicit the same reaction.

A lot of good advice is paid heed to, or not paid heed to, because of this — the readiness of the person receiving it.

Many people may have said the same thing to you countless times but you only realise it one fine day. Realising something late is far better than not realising it at all.

When advice or suggestions fall on flat ears, don’t lose hope. The other person isn’t ready for it at that point of time, like how you weren’t ready for it when it was given to you many times.

The process of change and transformations is a lot easier when you meet people who are ready to make that leap
